CODE OF CONDUCT

1. Introduction
 

Bold Approved LLC is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and sustainability in all aspects of our business. As such, we strive to work with like-minded suppliers who value doing the right thing in the right way. This Supplier Code of Conduct outlines the expectations we have for our suppliers to ensure that our values are upheld throughout our supply chain. As a supplier, you agree that your business and operations follow the principles and requirements set forth in this Supplier Code of Conduct.

 

 

2. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
 

We believe in following the law, and we do not ask or seek for suppliers to break any laws to provide and products or services for us. Suppliers must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations, including but not limited to labor laws, environmental regulations, data privacy protections, and health and safety standards.

 
 
3. Labor and Human Rights
 

We believe that the individuals that serve and work for our companies are the life of our company, and that without them, our companies could not function. Accordingly, all Suppliers agree to follow the following principles and standards:

  • Fair Treatment: Suppliers must treat all employees with respect and dignity. Any form of harassment, abuse, or unlawful discrimination is not tolerated.
  • Wages and Benefits: Suppliers must provide fair wages and benefits that meet or exceed legal requirements.
  • Working Hours: Suppliers must comply with applicable laws regarding working hours and overtime.
  • Child Labor: The use of child labor is strictly prohibited. Suppliers must adhere to the minimum age requirements as defined by local laws and international standards.
  • Forced Labor: Suppliers must not engage in any form of forced or compulsory labor or contract with those who do.
 
 
4. Health and Safety
 

Suppliers must provide a safe and healthy working environment for their employees. This includes taking proactive measures to prevent workplace accidents and injuries, providing necessary safety equipment, and ensuring that facilities are in compliance with health and safety regulations. It also includes training employees as necessary on various health and safety related aspects of the position they are in. Suppliers will also ensure that they have worker’s compensation in place to compensate employees who may suffer an accident or injury on the job.

 

 

5. Environmental Responsibility
 

Good stewardship of our earth allows us all to continue to grow, thrive, and progress. We believe it is possible to run a good business and treat the earth well. Accordingly, Suppliers must operate in an environmentally responsible manner. This includes:

  • Compliance: Adhering to all applicable environmental laws and regulations.
  • Sustainability: Implementing practices that minimize environmental impact, such as reducing waste, conserving energy, and using sustainable materials.
  • Pollution Prevention: Taking measures to prevent pollution and manage hazardous substances responsibly.

 

 

6. Ethical Business Practices
 

The law serves as a minimum code of conduct, but businesses of moral character and fiber tend to provide higher value to their clients due to the relationship of trust that arises. Trust is an important and valued principle, and so we require that our suppliers operate based on principles of trust that promote healthy and strong relationships. These requirements include:

 

  • Integrity: Suppliers must conduct their business with integrity and transparency. Any form of corruption, bribery, changes to client directives, theft or unethical behavior is strictly prohibited.
  • Confidentiality: Suppliers must protect the confidentiality of any proprietary information shared by Bold Approved LLC, including without limitation any information about clients of Bold Approved LLC.
  • Conflict of Interest: Suppliers must avoid any conflicts of interest that could compromise their ability to act in the best interests of Bold Approved LLC. If any party at the Supplier benefits personally from the work or services with Bold Approved LLC, the Supplier will cause such party to disclose to both the Supplier and Bold Approved LLC about the conflict.

 

 

7. Monitoring and Compliance
 

Bold Approved LLC reserves the right to monitor and audit suppliers to ensure compliance with this Code of Conduct. Suppliers are expected to cooperate fully with any such audits and provide necessary documentation and access to facilities. Bold Approved LLC may terminate any order or agreement for services or products if we discover that you as a supplier are not following these principles and requirements.

 

 

8. Reporting Violations

Suppliers must promptly report any violations of this Code of Conduct to Bold Approved LLC. Reports can be made confidentially and without fear of retaliation. The purpose of reporting is to help Bold Approved LLC take any steps it needs to address and resolve the situation.

 

 

9. Continuous Improvement

 

Suppliers are encouraged to continuously improve their practices and align with the evolving standards of Bold Approved LLC. We value long-term partnerships with suppliers who share our commitment to ethical, sustainable, and responsible business practices. By adhering to this Supplier Code of Conduct, suppliers contribute to the mutual success and integrity of our business relationships. Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to these standards. These principles are incorporated into and form part of any agreement or contract that Bold Approved LLC has with the Supplier.
